Contracting Specialist (Insurance)

What you will do

• Process new agent contracting paperwork and save incoming contracts for review.
• Review contracts for completeness, verify supporting documentation, and confirm appointed hierarchies.
• Submit contracting paperwork through carrier portals or preferred submission methods and follow up on outstanding issues.
• Support agents by phone, email, and in person while creating and tracking service requests.
• Communicate with insurance carriers to resolve agent issues and ensure complete follow-through.
• Assist with new business applications, train staff, and contribute to special projects.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of new business operations and procedures.
• One year of customer service and/or data entry experience.
• One year of experience with Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication, customer service, computer, and typing skills.
• Ability to operate email, office applications, scanners, fax machines, telephones, and related business equipment.
