Technical Product Marketing Manager (FPGA IP)

Location: Penang, Malaysia. The role requires satisfactory proof of the right to work in Malaysia.

What you will do

• Define FPGA IP product and feature requirements based on customer needs, market opportunities, and business objectives.
• Develop product roadmaps and prioritize investments using customer feedback, market trends, and strategic goals.
• Partner with engineering, applications, marketing, and sales teams on requirements, MRD/PRD development, product reviews, and IP execution.
• Translate customer and ecosystem feedback into product planning recommendations.
• Lead positioning, messaging, competitive analysis, launch planning, and sales enablement for new products and IP releases.
• Support customer engagements, design wins, pipeline progression, and revenue growth with sales, FAE, and business development teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• At least 3 years of experience in product marketing, product management, applications engineering, design engineering, or a related technical role.
• Technical knowledge of high-speed serial interfaces and protocols, video and display connectivity, embedded processing systems, image processing, or computer vision.
• Experience defining product requirements, developing PRDs/MRDs, or influencing product roadmaps.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, verbal, and presentation skills for communication with technical and executive audiences.
• Customer-focused approach and ability to work across global, cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
