What you will do

• Lead Risk & Reporting workstreams covering performance analytics, investor reporting, portfolio analytics, and strategy-level reporting.
• Set standards for return metrics including TWR, MWR, IRR, MOIC, TVPI, DPI, and RVPI across alternative-investment strategies.
• Oversee reporting controls for valuations, exposures, attribution, cash flows, benchmarks, portfolio risks, and client-specific templates.
• Define automation and reporting-platform roadmaps across SQL, Python, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, DAX, Power Query/M, and dataflows.
• Govern data quality, documentation, testing, version control, release management, and secure access across reporting systems.
• Build and lead the Hyderabad team while managing senior stakeholders, staffing, capacity planning, escalations, and manager development.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience at an asset manager, investment bank, fund administrator, or another financial-services company.
• Deep expertise in alternative investments, investment reporting, or portfolio analytics.
• Authoritative knowledge of performance, return, exposure, attribution, benchmark, and investor-reporting concepts.
• Strong technical foundation in SQL, Python, Power BI, and modern reporting platforms.
• Proven people-management, senior-stakeholder governance, escalation-management, written-communication, and verbal-communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Nice to have

• Hands-on Python for data analysis and automation and prompt engineering with approved GenAI tools.
• Experience with Azure, Microsoft Fabric, semantic models, deployment pipelines, and secure data-access patterns.
• Knowledge of alternative-investment accounting, eFront-style workflows, side-letter data requirements, and ILPA reporting standards.
• CFA, FRM, CAIA, CIPM, or Chartered Accountant credentials.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
