Assistant Project Manager

What you will do

• Manage assigned construction projects and scopes under the direction of the Project Manager or Senior Project Manager.
• Communicate project progress with owners' representatives and participate in project meetings when required.
• Prepare estimates, budgets, job cost plans, contract changes, and owner proposals.
• Select subcontractors, solicit and review bids, negotiate contract changes, and process submittals and shop drawings.
• Collaborate on CPM schedules, monitor construction progress with the Superintendent, and maintain project documentation.
• Monitor project costs, support safety activities, and investigate and report adverse situations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering, and/or 2–3 years of general construction experience.
• Knowledge of construction, quantity take-offs, and estimating.
• Computer skills and knowledge of project management and scheduling.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently on assigned projects.
