Assistant Planner, Merchandiser Planning & Allocation (AI)

What you will do

• Support the Monthly Forecast Review process across Asian markets and retail, wholesale, and travel retail channels.
• Prepare forecast reports, variance analyses, weekly and monthly business reports, and management presentations.
• Execute product allocations and replenishment strategies while monitoring stock-outs, excess inventory, aged stock, and inventory health.
• Recommend inventory rebalancing, transfers, replenishment actions, and seasonal inventory deployment strategies.
• Consolidate partner submissions, monitor wholesale performance, and support partner forecasting, allocation, and replenishment.
• Improve planning and reporting processes through dashboards, automation, analytics, and AI-enabled tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, finance, economics, statistics, mathematics, engineering, or a related discipline.
• 1–2 years of experience in merchandise planning, retail planning, allocation, supply chain planning, business analytics, or a related field.
• Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and data analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Experience working with large datasets and business reporting.
• Strong interest in AI, automation, predictive analytics, generative AI, and data-driven planning and decision-making.

Nice to have

• Retail or fashion industry experience.
• Knowledge of SAP, MicroStrategy, Power BI, Tableau, Power Query, SQL, or Python.
