Location: Marysville, Ohio, United States; onsite

Salary: $111,500–$131,200 per year, plus eligibility for corporate bonus programs.

What you will do

  • Lead and develop a team of 5–10 regulatory affairs professionals, allocating resources across federal and state registration projects.
  • Oversee EPA FIFRA registrations under Sections 3, 24(c), and 18, as well as state-level pesticide actions.
  • Direct fertilizer, soil amendment, and biostimulant registrations and compliance across target states.
  • Monitor regulatory, legislative, and enforcement developments and represent the company with agencies, trade associations, task forces, and technical committees.
  • Manage regulatory timelines for product launches, registration databases, submission statuses, approvals, and compliance deadlines.
  • Improve workflows, establish team KPIs, and introduce digital tools to increase submission efficiency and reduce time to market.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, engineering, toxicology, crop science, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in regulatory affairs leadership, product registration, project management, and process improvement.
  • Experience managing and developing 5–10 direct reports in a corporate regulatory environment.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with EPA FIFRA and state pesticide or fertilizer registration protocols.
  • Demonstrated ability to build collaborative internal and external relationships, train and mentor colleagues, and translate complex regulations into workflows and SOPs.
  • Ability to anticipate regulatory changes, prepare persuasive technical arguments, and influence policy to protect freedom to operate.

Nice to have

  • Experience registering lawn and garden pesticides, fertilizers, and fertilizer/pesticide combination products.
  • Experience with APHIS, OMRI, or other lawn and garden regulations.
  • Experience championing technology and digital tools for regulatory tracking and workflow automation.
