Regulatory Senior Specialist (OTC/Cosmetics)

Location: Remote within the United States; candidates must be able to work Eastern Time Zone business hours. Occasional in-person meetings may be required.

Salary: $92,500–$131,700 base salary annually, plus bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Manage regulatory tasks and medium-complexity projects supporting the commercialization of OTC drug and cosmetic products across multiple business units.
• Conduct technical regulatory reviews, analyses, assessments, and product label reviews.
• Prepare regulatory summaries, conclusions, recommendations, detailed reports, and submissions.
• Manage product listings with the FDA, FDA Cosmetics Direct registrations, OTC drug listings and reporting, facility registrations, and CSCP processes.
• Identify and communicate regulatory requirements, risks, and mitigation strategies across functions.
• Improve processes, resolve issues, and coordinate project delivery with R&D, Quality, Legal, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Technology teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or a related field from an accredited institution.
• At least 5 years of technical regulatory experience with a demonstrated track record.
• Expertise in regulatory requirements for OTC drug and cosmetic products.
• Knowledge of FDA and CPSC regulations, state-specific requirements, and California Safe Cosmetics Program requirements.
• Experience with consumer product label reviews, product and facility registration, and listing processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with dietary supplements.
• Experience with AI tools or AI-enabled ways of working.
• Microsoft Office Suite knowledge.
