Construction Supervisor - Watford City

Location: Alexander, North Dakota; permanent residence in the Williston Basin required. This is an onsite field position.

What you will do

• Supervise and inspect pipeline construction and maintenance projects, including launchers, receivers, compression, treating, and processing equipment.
• Develop, execute, and oversee pipeline tie-in and shutdown procedures for maintenance and new construction.
• Coordinate operations, project management, commercial, scheduling, control room personnel, contractors, and inspectors.
• Manage project scope, estimating support, costs, schedules, documentation, and contractor performance.
• Oversee job safety, QA/QC, welding, NDE, coating, pressure testing, and compliance with company standards and applicable codes.
• Review turnover packages, report project status and variances, and support corrections and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; a construction management bachelor’s degree or five years of relevant experience is preferred.
• Two to four years of relevant experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to create and maintain spreadsheets.
• Strong analytical, listening, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to work across organizational levels.
• Ability to understand and implement operations and maintenance procedures and produce clear scopes of work, bills of materials, procedures, and field instructions.
• Permanent residence in the Williston Basin is required.
• Valid state operating license with a driving record insurable under company policy; DOT drug and alcohol testing may apply.

Nice to have

• AWS Certified Welding Inspector certification.
• NACE/AMPP Coating Inspector Program certification.
• PMP, API 1169, or ASNT certifications.
