Construction Manager – LNG Projects

What you will do

• Manage field construction activities for LNG projects from mobilization through commissioning and handover.
• Lead contractors, subcontractors, construction personnel, and multidisciplinary field teams.
• Monitor schedules, budgets, performance metrics, project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify construction risks, resolve field issues, and coordinate with engineering, procurement, commissioning, and operations teams.
• Conduct progress reviews, site inspections, and safety audits while promoting a Zero Harm safety culture.
• Prepare project updates, reports, and forecasts and support commissioning, startup, and closeout activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent construction experience.
• At least 10 years of construction management experience, including significant LNG project experience.
• Experience managing large EPC, EPCM, or owner-led LNG projects.
• Knowledge of LNG facility construction, cryogenic systems, piping, structural steel, mechanical equipment, and commissioning requirements.
• Experience leading large field teams and multiple contractors, with knowledge of OSHA requirements and industry safety standards.
• Strong communication, leadership, organizational, problem-solving, project management, and construction reporting skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with greenfield LNG export terminals, import terminals, or liquefaction facilities.
• PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials.
• Professional Engineering license.
• Experience in multinational and fast-paced project environments.
