Senior Data Engineer (Python)

Location: Hyderabad, Telangana, India; full-time, onsite

What you will do

• Build backend features in Python for profiling and integrating large datasets.
• Support the design and implementation of functional requirements.
• Design and implement secure, RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to translate designs into code.
• Implement software enhancements and contribute to CI/CD and test automation.
• Prepare technical documentation and suggest system improvements.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of core Python experience.
• Strong experience creating backend APIs and applying API development best practices.
• Experience with Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, Bottle, or FastAPI.
• Experience working with large datasets and distributed processing tools such as Spark or Dask.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in Azure, AWS, or GCP environments.
• Strong SQL experience.
