Senior Manager - Open-end Fund Accounting

What you will do

• Maintain books and records for multi-strategy accounting and report to internal stakeholders, including fund portfolio managers.
• Prepare daily NAV, cash, and position reconciliations for a multi-strategy credit fund.
• Investigate and resolve cash, position, and asset breaks.
• Record transactions, capital activity, journal entries, expense accruals, corporate actions, and monthly closing accruals.
• Review semi-annual and annual financial reports and coordinate audit preparation with auditors, custodians, and fund administrators.
• Prepare corporate reporting, AIFMD reporting inputs, wire payments, expense analyses, audit confirmations, and ad-hoc requests.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant accounting or audit experience in Big Four public accounting, investment management, or a combination of both.
• Strong knowledge of reconciliation and account analysis, with the ability to apply investment company accounting rules.
• Experience with Geneva and/or Geneva World Investor accounting systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA is a plus.

Nice to have

• Financial reporting and ARC experience.
• CPA certification.
