TL;DR
Senior Accountant (Financial Reporting): Preparing and reviewing financial statements, reconciling financial data, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes with an accent on compliance, variance analysis, and audit documentation. Focus on analyzing complex financial issues, improving accounting policies and procedures, and supporting planning and budgeting activities.
Location: Pune, India; onsite attendance may be required for interviews at a office
What you will do
- Prepare and review financial reports and statements.
- Conduct detailed reconciliations and analyze financial trends and variances.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes with increasing autonomy.
- Develop financial policies and procedures and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Prepare audit documentation and responses, and review complex invoices and payments.
- Support financial planning, budgeting, and special accounting projects.
Requirements
- Degree in accounting or finance.
- Advanced financial reporting and financial data analysis skills.
- Experience with accounting software and complex financial problem-solving.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
