Tax Specialist-Senior - CIT Compliance

Location: Onsite in Warsaw, Annopol 19, Poland

What you will do

• Manage the preparation, review, and submission of tax returns and reports in compliance with local regulations.
• Maintain filing schedules, monitor tax law changes, and implement required adjustments across assigned countries, including Denmark, Finland, Luxembourg, Sweden, Norway, and the Netherlands.
• Support tax audits by preparing documentation, responding to auditor inquiries, and maintaining organized tax records.
• Review and supervise local GAAP reporting and develop tax procedures and controls.
• Initiate and support international corporate tax projects and ensure consistent local implementation.
• Collaborate with hirify.global departments, external consultants, tax authorities, and industry organizations.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in tax compliance.
• Diploma in Tax Law, Economics, or Accounting, or CPA qualification.
• Knowledge of tax accounting and strong analytical, decision-making, communication, and independent-working skills.
• Professional English proficiency is required.
• Ability to use ERP systems, tax reporting platforms, Excel, Power BI, automation tools, data analytics, and AI responsibly in tax processes.

Nice to have

• Experience with a consultancy firm, particularly a Big Four firm.
• Knowledge of an additional language besides English and the native language.
