Pharmacist – Maui, HI | Staff Pharmacist / PIC | Compounding Training Available

Location: Maui, Hawaii, US; full-time on-site

Salary: $150,000–$175,000 annual

Specialty compounding pharmacy providing personalized medications, wellness therapies, sterile and non-sterile compounding, and human and veterinary prescriptions.

What you will do

• Verify, review, and accurately dispense prescription medications.
• Counsel patients on medications, supplements, and treatment plans.
• Oversee sterile and non-sterile compounding activities.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations.
• Collaborate with physicians, veterinarians, and other healthcare providers.
• Maintain documentation and inventory; supervise pharmacy technicians and staff for PIC responsibilities.

Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
• Active, unrestricted Hawaii Pharmacist License required before interview.
• Strong patient counseling and communication skills.
• Ability to work full-time on-site in Maui.
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, plus rotating or occasional Saturdays from 9:00 AM–3:00 PM.

Nice to have

• Community or hospital pharmacy experience.
• Sterile or non-sterile compounding experience and knowledge of USP 797 and USP 800.
• Functional or integrative medicine, nutraceuticals, supplements, wellness medicine, infusion, nuclear pharmacy, or complex compounding experience.
• PrimeRx experience.
