Frontend Software Engineer (React)

Location: Remote within US Pacific or Mountain time zones; San Francisco, United States

Salary: $124,749–$162,867, $135,270–$176,603, or $150,300–$196,225 annually, depending on geographic pay zone.

What you will do

• Deliver projects autonomously from technical design through launch.
• Build efficient, fast, testable, scalable, and high-quality client-side code.
• Partner with design, product management, and engineering teams to develop customer experiences.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and managers to understand user pain points and iterate on solutions.
• Contribute to code reviews and documentation, and resolve complex bugs.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience building large-scale frontend applications with React.
• Bachelor’s degree; a Computer Science degree is preferred.
• Understanding of the modern frontend ecosystem, including bundling, linting, testing, and release processes.
• Experience with modern testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, Mocha, or Chai.
• Familiarity with JavaScript and experience building frontend applications at scale.
• Experience with Agile software development and medium-to-large software systems.
