Frontend Software Engineer (React)

Location: Remote within the United States; candidates must be located in the US Pacific or Mountain time zones.

Salary: USD 124,749–196,225 annual base pay, depending on geographic pay zone.

What you will do

• Deliver projects autonomously from technical design through launch.
• Build efficient, fast, testable, scalable, and high-quality client-side code.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and other engineering teams to understand user pain points and develop customer experiences.
• Contribute to code reviews and documentation.
• Take on complex bug fixes.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience building large-scale frontend applications using React.
• Bachelor's degree; a Computer Science degree is preferred.
• Understanding of the modern frontend ecosystem, including bundling, linting, testing, and releasing.
• Experience with modern testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, Mocha, or Chai.
• Familiarity with JavaScript and its ecosystem.
• Experience building frontend applications at scale.
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
• Experience engineering medium-to-large software systems with significant scope and complexity.
