AI Software Engineer Microsoft (Azure AI)

What you will do

• Build AI-enabled application components with Azure AI Foundry and Azure OpenAI, including RAG, grounding strategies, and safe prompt designs.
• Design and implement Microsoft Copilot Studio solutions with conversational flows, orchestration logic, plugins, actions, and integrations.
• Develop backend services, APIs, custom connectors, and automation using JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, or Python.
• Integrate solutions with Microsoft Graph, Dataverse, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Microsoft 365, Teams, Outlook, and Azure data platforms.
• Apply secure cloud-native and event-driven architectures, including authentication, authorization, scalability, asynchronous messaging, and lifecycle governance.
• Support CI/CD, monitoring, telemetry, performance optimization, Responsible AI testing, documentation, and stakeholder enablement.

Requirements

• Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio, conversational design, prompt engineering, orchestration flows, and plugin or action development.
• Practical experience implementing Azure AI Foundry or Azure OpenAI solutions with prompt optimization, RAG, grounding, vector search, and production safety.
• Strong integration experience with Microsoft Graph, Dataverse, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Microsoft 365 extensibility.
• Hands-on software engineering experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, or Python and scalable application patterns.
• Knowledge of Azure cloud-native architecture, event-driven systems, Entra ID, RBAC, managed identities, data access controls, and governance.
• Experience with Git-based development, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, environment separation, Application Insights, Azure Monitor, and analytics.
