Finishing Operator CG4 (Advanced Composites Manufacturing)

Location: Casa Grande, Arizona, USA; onsite manufacturing facility

Salary: $25.75 per hour during the 90-day new hire orientation period, increasing to $28.13 per hour afterward

hirify.global manufactures advanced lightweight composite materials, including carbon fiber, woven reinforcements, resins, prepregs, honeycombs, and engineered core and composite structures for industries including commercial aerospace.

What you will do

• Process composite core slices through light inspection, trimming, node repair, washing, drying, blowout, and packing operations.
• Inspect material for blisters, plugging, dimensional issues, density, cell count, and other defects, and repair or rework nonconforming material.
• Operate and maintain moving band saws, table saws, trim saws, rework ovens, wash stations, blowout equipment, and packing tools.
• Calculate piece yield, trim materials to required tolerances, prepare packaging, apply labels, and perform final conformity checks.
• Coordinate priorities and material movement with planning, scheduling, supervisors, leads, engineers, quality, source inspection, and shipping.
• Enter MRP inventory and shop-floor transactions, track open orders, and ensure partial inventory and job movement records are accurate.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience, preferably in manufacturing; six months of manufacturing experience at hirify.global Casa Grande may substitute.
• Proficiency using a tape measure and ruler.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, and to write routine reports.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations involving whole numbers, fractions, decimals, rates, ratios, and percentages.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, qualifying temporary resident, refugee, or person granted asylum.

Culture & Benefits

• Work a T2-AM 2x2x5x5 schedule on 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
• Week 1 schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday.
• Week 2 schedule: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
• Overtime is often required.
