Data Engineer II

What you will do

• Build and maintain batch and streaming ingestion pipelines for the enterprise data platform.
• Develop layered raw, conformed, and curated transformation models with reusable components and dependency management.
• Implement incremental processing, error handling, retries, recovery patterns, and data quality tests.
• Maintain model and column documentation, source freshness monitoring, lineage, and impact analysis capabilities.
• Integrate transformations into CI/CD workflows and participate in code reviews, releases, and rollbacks.
• Monitor pipelines, respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis, and maintain operational runbooks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in data engineering, data integration, or a related role.
• Strong SQL proficiency and experience building data transformations and pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms and modern ELT patterns.
