Annual base salary: $126,500–$208,700

What you will do

• Develop and support data pipelines for Business Insurance Property and General Liability pricing use cases.
• Implement pricing models in partnership with Data Science and Actuarial teams.
• Perform data exploration, cleansing, transformation, profiling, and quality monitoring.
• Translate actuarial and data science requirements into scalable, production-ready cloud solutions.
• Apply MLOps practices across model development and implementation lifecycles.
• Provide project leadership, technical recommendations, code reviews, design guidance, and mentoring.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related STEM field, or equivalent education and experience.
• At least four additional years of data engineering experience; the role profile references eight years of related experience.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and cloud-based model implementation.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL, plus experience building and maintaining data pipelines.
• Experience with APIs, microservices, test automation, and modern software engineering practices.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and engineering leadership or mentoring skills.

Nice to have

• Insurance industry experience or a strong interest in learning the domain.
• Infrastructure as Code and DevOps experience, including Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
