DevOps Engineer - Release/ENV Management (Azure)

Location: Remote in Bucharest, Romania

Compensation starts at 245,000 RON per month.

What you will do

• Oversee DevOps release processes and promote release packages from lower environments to QA and production.
• Develop release implementation plans and coordinate deployments with project, development, and QA teams.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines, deployment environments, configuration management, and CMDB records.
• Provision, configure, upgrade, monitor, and troubleshoot development, QA, performance, and production environments.
• Enhance automation scripts and research or implement tools that improve DevOps and testing efficiency.
• Enforce environment and application security, document procedures, and establish proof-of-concept environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, with 6+ years of software development and DevOps experience.
• At least 4 years of practical experience in DevOps release management, Azure environment management, and deployments.
• Strong knowledge of Azure, ARM templates, Azure DevOps pipelines, infrastructure as code, firewalls, ExpressRoute, IPSec tunnels, Virtual WAN, WAF, and related security components.
• Experience with Windows and Linux, virtualization, networking, DNS, load balancing, SSL, TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, and security.
• Experience with GitLab or GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, Python, Bash, PowerShell, Batch, and shell scripting.
• Knowledge of ALM, SDLC, engineering standards, Agile methodologies, and production release support.

Nice to have

• Experience with .NET, .NET Core, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, Java, C#, XML, REST, SQL/NoSQL, Angular, Node, and Redis.
