ACMP DevOps Engineer (Microsoft Azure)

Location: Remote from Bulgaria, Portugal, or Latvia

What you will do

• Use infrastructure as code to manage the lifecycle of cloud systems and environments.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps and GitLab.
• Improve monitoring, logging, and alerting systems and participate in on-call rotations.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve the software development lifecycle.
• Support incident response, root cause analysis, and postmortem activities.
• Ensure systems are secure, scalable, and resilient while contributing to documentation and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Experience administering Linux and Windows servers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Azure, including Azure DevOps and Azure Resource Manager.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, scripting languages such as Bash or PowerShell, and infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
• Knowledge of observability tools such as Azure Monitor, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Good spoken and written English is required. Experience with incident handling, production troubleshooting, Agile practices, and shared DevOps models is hirify.global required.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience designing CI/CD architectures and automating build and deployment workflows.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps security practices.
• Interest in emerging DevOps technologies.
