Construction Services Intern (Engineering)

Location: Honolulu, Hawaii, United States; construction site visits are required.

Salary: $15–$20 per hour

What you will do

• Gain real-world experience on construction projects.
• Apply standard construction management practices under the direct supervision of a construction management professional.
• Visit construction sites and learn the inspection process.
• Collaborate with recent graduates and company leaders through mentorship and project work.
• Complete additional construction services assignments as needed.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Possess basic Microsoft Office skills.
• Commit to active participation in an employee-owned culture.
• Complete a preemployment drug test.

Nice to have

• Two years completed toward a degree and a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Knowledge of software packages related to the field of study or industry.
• Strong Hawaii roots and an interest in building a career in the state.
