Director, Commercial Supply Chain (Biotech)

Location: South San Francisco, California, United States; onsite four days per week

What you will do

• Own commercial supply strategy, launch readiness, and lifecycle supply planning for Darovasertib.
• Develop integrated demand and supply plans, production schedules, capacity models, inventory strategies, and scenario analyses.
• Lead the monthly S&OP cadence, risk and opportunity reviews, mitigation actions, and executive reporting.
• Manage GxP- and SOX-compliant inventory, including reconciliation, cycle counting, expiry tracking, and NetSuite inventory ownership.
• Coordinate external manufacturing, packaging, labeling, serialization, logistics, storage vendors, shipping lanes, and cold-chain controls.
• Build KPI dashboards and partner with Quality, Regulatory, CMC, Finance, Accounting, Commercial, and IT on compliant distribution and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• BA/BS in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Life Sciences; an advanced degree is preferred.
• 10–12+ years of experience in biotech or pharmaceutical supply chain, including 3+ years in commercial operations or late-stage launch readiness.
• Experience as, or eligibility and willingness to serve as, a California Board of Pharmacy designated representative.
• Experience managing external manufacturing and supply partners, global distribution logistics, and GMP/GDP requirements.
• Advanced planning and analytics skills, including Excel or supply planning tools, Microsoft Office, collaborative platforms, and NetSuite inventory systems.
• Ability to build processes from the ground up, lead cross-functionally, and travel domestically and internationally as needed.
