Product Owner - Workflow

What you will do

• Lead the product vision, roadmap, and execution for the Workflow platform.
• Manage the backlog, enforce sprint scope discipline, and lead sprint planning.
• Establish a scored intake process for evaluating and prioritizing product requests.
• Structure Jira tooling with Epic-to-Story hierarchies, sized epics, and KTLO epics.
• Model tax compliance cycles, including extensions, quality control reviews, assembly, sign-offs, and e-file transmission, as structured platform queues.
• Drive Workflow’s evolution into the orchestration layer connecting hirify.global modules and maintain consolidated requirements documentation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in a B2B SaaS platform environment.
• Hands-on experience running tax compliance engagements within a CPA firm before transitioning into product management.
• Deep knowledge of tax compliance workflows, due dates, extension filing, and review/sign-off cycles.
• Experience enforcing sprint discipline and organizing capability-based backlogs in Jira.
• Ability to translate complex, unstructured business processes into defined, scalable platform features.
• Exceptional communication skills for bridging tax domain experts and software engineering teams.
