EHS Associate Manager

Location: 6 October Factory, Egypt

Company

hirify.global is a food manufacturing company seeking to manage environment, health, and safety operations across a factory site.

What you will do

• Lead site-wide EHS policies, procedures, compliance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee Wastewater Treatment Plant operations, maintenance, compliance, effluent quality, and regulatory reporting.
• Develop SOPs for wastewater treatment, emergency response, and related activities.
• Lead, coach, and develop EHS and WWTP teams while driving safety training and incident investigations.
• Manage contractor safety and permit-to-work compliance, and support crisis management and safety committees.
• Monitor EHS performance, maintain records, and improve sustainability and operational and chemical cost control.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Agriculture, or Engineering.
• NEBOSH certification.
• At least 6 years of EHS experience, preferably in manufacturing or FMCG.
• Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment, compliance, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001.
• Experience in contractor safety, incident investigation, and continuous improvement.
• Leadership, communication, stakeholder management, planning, coordination, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
