Senior Electrical Engineer

Location: Full-time, on-site at the Sunnyvale, California headquarters, United States

Base salary: $165,000–$195,000 per year, depending on experience; stock options included.

What you will do

• Own electrical design and integration across multiple hardware programs from early concepts and prototypes through production readiness.
• Evaluate and integrate electrical components, sensors, CPU/GPU platforms, compute modules, video, audio, and router systems.
• Define power requirements, select batteries, and design wire harnesses for efficient and reliable power distribution.
• Troubleshoot and debug systems at the system, PCB, and component levels.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, and systems engineers to resolve cross-functional design tradeoffs.
• Support test plans, fixtures, validation activities, manufacturing coordination, and scalable product development practices.

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of product development experience with independent ownership of electromechanical hardware programs from concept through production.
• PCB design experience covering schematic capture, layout, fabrication, assembly oversight, board bring-up, and DVT.
• Experience integrating compute modules, sensors, routers, and batteries into electrical systems.
• Familiarity with thermal design and management in compact, sealed enclosures.
• Hands-on prototyping experience, independent decision-making, and strong cross-functional communication in fast-paced programs with ambiguous requirements.

• Experience with soft goods, wearable, or body-worn products.
