Software Engineer - Full Stack (Angular / Java / Python / Kubernetes)

Location: Herndon, Virginia, United States; hybrid work with less than 50% remote

What you will do

• Build and maintain full-stack components for the GEOINT Visualization Services platform.
• Develop Angular and TypeScript applications, including migration from AngularJS to Angular.
• Integrate back-end APIs and contribute to Java and Python services.
• Develop secure, cloud-native, containerized geospatial tools.
• Collaborate within a SAFe scrum team and apply OGC geospatial standards such as WMS, WFS, and Tile Services.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret security clearance required to start; TS/SCI preferred.
• Angular and TypeScript development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Security+ or DoD 8140-equivalent certification, or the ability to obtain the required current certification.
• Experience with full-stack development and secure cloud-native applications.

Nice to have

• AngularJS-to-Angular migration and RxJS expertise.
• SAFe or Agile Release Train experience.
• Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipeline experience.
• PostgreSQL, AWS, and Red Hat Linux experience.
• Back-end API development with Java or Python, peer code review, unit testing, Git, or open-source contributions.
