Digital Consulting Manager - Microsoft Fabric Architect (Microsoft Fabric)

Location: Chicago, United States

Salary: $145,000–$170,000 USD annually; eligible for annual incentive compensation with an estimated total compensation range of $166,750–$212,500 USD.

What you will do

• Design and develop cloud analytics solutions using Microsoft Azure services, Microsoft Fabric workloads, and related technologies.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and document solution architectures for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, scalability, reliability, and performance standards.
• Establish delivery frameworks and tools, including guardrails, automated reviews, and accelerators.
• Lead project delivery workstreams and teams while collaborating with clients, stakeholders, technology partners, and domain experts.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and coaching to cloud engineers, developers, report developers, and data scientists.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in cloud computing, preferably with Microsoft Azure.
• Strong knowledge of Azure services including Synapse Analytics, Data Factory, Storage Accounts, Logic Apps, Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Active Directory, Azure DevOps, and Azure Monitor.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Fabric workloads and features including Power BI, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Semantic Model, Dataflows, Notebooks, Data Activator, Reflex, Deployment Pipelines, Workspaces, and Apps.
• Experience with cloud architecture patterns such as microservices and serverless, as well as cloud migration, integration, and deployment.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Azure or Fabric certifications, such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Developer Associate, Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Data Engineer, Fabric Engineer, Power BI Data Analyst, or Azure Data Scientist.
