What you will do

• Develop mortgage business through relationships with realtors, builders, title companies, and community partners.
• Originate mortgage loan applications and collect customers’ required information.
• Negotiate loan terms and interest rates and advise customers on available product options.
• Provide required disclosures and notices in compliance with mortgage regulations.
• Secure interest rate lock-ins with investors and manage the loan pipeline to protect the bank from interest rate risk.
• Complete required compliance training and perform related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of mortgage origination experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Current NMLS license.
• Ability to interpret business, financial, legal, and regulatory documents.
• Ability to prepare routine reports, respond to complaints, and present information to customers and colleagues.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
