What you will do

• Analyze large, complex datasets using advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to generate commercial insights.
• Build predictive models and estimate causal relationships using experimentation, causal inference, and statistical modeling.
• Define business problems and hypotheses with cross-functional partners, then design experiments to test them.
• Extract and integrate data from multiple systems using complex SQL queries.
• Present analytical results and translate technical findings into clear recommendations for stakeholders.
• Track developments in data science, including causal inference, generative AI, and machine learning, and share knowledge with the team.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in applied mathematics, economics, statistics, engineering, or a related quantitative field, plus at least 2 years of relevant industry experience; a bachelor’s degree may be considered with additional experience.
• Advanced experience applying machine learning methods with Python and SQL.
• In-depth knowledge of supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques.
• Experience with online experimentation, large-scale A/B testing, and causal inference methods such as propensity score matching, synthetic controls, and difference-in-differences.
• Familiarity with Git, Airflow, and common development workflows.
• Strong communication and data storytelling skills for explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in entertainment, gaming, technology, or another consumer-facing industry.
• Knowledge of the gaming industry and relevant game titles.
• Familiarity with generative AI tools and pipelines.
