Transaction Manager (Intellectual Property)

Location: Peoria, Illinois, United States; onsite five days per week. Domestic relocation assistance is available. Travel is up to 10% domestically and internationally.

Salary: $147,760–$221,640 per year.

What you will do

• Secure hirify.global’s intellectual property rights through development, licensing, supplier, confidentiality, research, government, consulting, evaluation, and joint development agreements.
• Create deal structures, term sheets, IP provisions, executive summaries, and agreement risk assessments.
• Interpret legal language, propose wording, prepare redlines, and resolve outstanding agreement issues.
• Advise engineering and business teams on protecting technical information and intellectual assets.
• Develop IP protection guidelines, enterprise procedures, training, and advocacy programs.
• Facilitate and maintain the non-disclosure agreement request workflow, including risk mitigation through training and coaching.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, a technical field, or business.
• Ability to work independently, remain self-motivated, and collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills at all organizational levels.
• Strong customer focus and ability to address technical challenges in a manufacturing or product development environment.
• Experience with project management, requirements analysis, product design and development, and technical problem-solving.

• Experience negotiating or working with intellectual property agreements or valuations.
• Experience working with external funding organizations, including governments.
• Technical knowledge across hirify.global products and technologies and an established engineering network.
