Commercial Counsel (AI Infrastructure)

Location: Secaucus, New Jersey, United States; onsite

Salary: $172,000–$240,000 annually, plus potential bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Negotiate and advise on strategic customer and commercial transactions.
• Partner with Legal, Finance, Accounting, Sales, Operations, executives, customers, and strategic partners to identify risks and develop practical solutions.
• Lead complex negotiations involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Advise on contractual provisions affecting business operations, financial outcomes, governance, approvals, compliance, and controls.
• Develop and improve legal templates, contracting frameworks, playbooks, and internal processes.
• Identify, communicate, and help mitigate legal and business risks across evolving commercial and operational matters.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to at least one U.S. bar.
• 10+ years of legal experience.
• Significant commercial contracting and negotiation experience.
• Ability to independently lead transactions, advise business stakeholders, and manage multiple complex matters.
• Strong business judgment, practical problem-solving skills, and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Certain positions may require U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, refugee or asylee status, or eligibility for an export control license or license exception.

Nice to have

• In-house legal experience in technology, hardware, manufacturing, cloud infrastructure, telecommunications, supply chain, or related industries.
• Combination of law firm and in-house experience.
• Experience with public-company governance, revenue recognition concepts, and commercial deal structures.
• Exposure to datacenter, AI, cloud, networking, or advanced manufacturing businesses.
