MES Engineer

Location: Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico; willing to travel up to 50% locally and internationally

What you will do

• Design and lead the implementation of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• Gather business and technical requirements, conduct gap analyses, and define functional specifications.
• Support MES solution architecture, data management, system integration, and storage initiatives.
• Deliver technical work throughout the full MES solution development lifecycle.
• Coordinate with plant personnel, IT teams, vendors, customers, and service providers to resolve MES and manufacturing-process issues.
• Track project progress and manage changes to scope, schedules, and issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, or equivalent experience.
• At least 7 years of IT experience, including at least 4 years in industrial software services.
• At least 4 years of experience designing or implementing MES applications.
• Experience with MES traceability and quality applications.
• Experience with one or more of Red Viking Argonaut, Inductive Automation Ignition, SAP, Oracle, Siemens, or Allen Bradley.
• Fluent English reading, writing, and speaking; willingness to travel up to 50% locally and internationally.
