Finance Intern - Summer 2027

Location: On-site at hirify.global’s corporate headquarters in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, United States

hirify.global produces and markets bioethanol, biofuels, and other sustainable products by converting renewable resources into energy and valuable goods.

What you will do

• Analyze financial information to assess current and future performance of multiple bioprocessing centers.
• Learn and apply financial forecast models covering production, revenue, expenses, and capital planning.
• Review existing dashboards and develop new dashboards for operations stakeholders.
• Support capital project approval through economic modeling and sensitivity analysis.
• Coordinate with cross-functional groups to collect data and communicate analytical results.
• Promote safe behavior, environmental compliance, teamwork, and community engagement.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completed junior-level courses toward a four-year degree in accounting, finance, business, economics, or a related major.
• Ability to create Microsoft Excel spreadsheet models and produce relevant outputs.
• Prior experience working with large data sets.
• High attention to detail, structured thinking, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new programs.
