Summer 2027 Finance Intern (Oil and Gas)

Location: Midland, Texas, United States; must be willing to work in Midland for the duration of the internship.

hirify.global is an independent oil and natural gas company focused on unconventional, onshore reserves in the Permian Basin in West Texas.

What you will do

• Own an individual finance project for approximately 12 weeks from May through August 2027 and present the completed project to the executive team.
• Support financial analysis, investor relations, capital markets, and business and corporate development activities.
• Prepare weekly and monthly deliverables for senior executives and the Board of Directors.
• Maintain the corporate financial model and net asset value analysis.
• Coordinate with other departments to understand the processes driving key business outcomes.
• Visit active field operations, including a drilling rig and completions spread, and participate in community and intern events.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
• Must be willing to work in Midland, Texas for the full internship duration.
• Must be returning to school for the Fall 2027 semester.

Nice to have

• GPA of 3.40 or higher.
• Extracurricular achievements or prior work experience.
• Familiarity with the upstream sector and oil and gas industry.
• Prior internship experience in a financial setting.
