Material Planner Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Casablanca, Morocco; onsite

What you will do

• Receive, analyze, and confirm customer sales orders.
• Purchase goods, materials, components, and services in line with cost, quality, and delivery targets.
• Plan raw material orders and monitor inventory levels, annual plans, and aged inventory.
• Prepare purchase orders and order schedules while researching and evaluating suppliers.
• Create monthly, weekly, and yearly production schedules in line with supply chain constraints.
• Maintain MRP data and parameters and coordinate material planning for new project introductions.

Requirements

• Engineering degree in supply chain, industry, or a related field.
• At least four years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong computer skills; MS Office is required.
• Relevant experience using ERP systems.
• Critical thinking, negotiation, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Eligibility to work in Morocco is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft AX.
