Salary: $250,000–$350,000 annually, depending on faculty rank, scope, and qualifications.

What you will do

• Provide consultative inpatient neurology services and electroencephalography at assigned hospitals.
• Evaluate and manage inpatients on the neurology consult service.
• Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in inpatient neurology.
• Contribute to curriculum development, student engagement, and undergraduate and graduate neurology education.
• Conduct and support investigator-initiated, industry-sponsored, and other clinical research in neurology.
• Collaborate with department and hospital leadership on faculty recruitment, clinical care, and program objectives.

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree with specialty board certification.
• Active medical license in California required.
• Evidence of successful collaboration and interdisciplinary work in a medical education environment.
• Eligibility for appointment as Assistant or Associate Professor in the Department of Medical Education.
• Experience using electronic medical record systems, including Epic.
• Ability to teach, present, conduct research, and work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in higher education, medical education, or a university environment.
• Experience with ACGME residency program administration.
• Familiarity with FERPA and higher-education policies.
