Solution Architect

Location: Metro Detroit, United States; hybrid remote model with flexibility to work remotely as much as desired.

Salary: $195,000–$220,000 per year.

What you will do

• Drive strategy and roadmap exercises, architecture definition, product selection, application design, and integration design.
• Serve as a Technical Lead or Lead Architect on large client projects.
• Provide technical leadership throughout discovery, planning, implementation, and delivery.
• Architect core business applications and integrations for insurance, healthcare, and other industries.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and technical project managers across diverse technology stacks.

Requirements

• At least five years of hands-on experience in architecture, design, or development of enterprise applications and integrations.
• Knowledge of architecture and design patterns and the ability to apply them across business domains.
• Hands-on experience with modern web and enterprise application platforms, including J2EE, .NET, and JavaScript, as well as integrations, data, and reporting.
• Strong leadership, management, organization, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
