Analyst, Data Analytics

Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States. Hybrid work is available, with up to one day per week from home.

Base salary for Colorado: $77,000–$131,000 per year, with potential discretionary bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Design and develop scalable analytical products, reusable components, data models, metrics, and technical solutions for business needs.
• Apply statistical analysis, forecasting, experimental design, segmentation, machine learning, predictive analytics, optimization, and simulation.
• Build analytics-layer datasets, semantic structures, features, and data products for reliable downstream analysis.
• Use advanced SQL and Python to transform data, automate recurring processes, and improve solution reliability and performance.
• Partner with data management, analytics, and business teams on strategic initiatives, urgent analytical needs, and durable product development.
• Apply Git, testing, peer review, documentation, Agile delivery, change control, and AI/Copilot capabilities to produce maintainable solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in data science, operations management, operations research, data analytics, statistics, computer science, information systems, or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency writing complex SQL queries and using Python with machine-learning packages.
• Experience with Tableau or Power BI for communicating business performance and status.
• Proficiency in applied statistics, data modeling, automation, Git/version control, Agile development, testing, quality assurance, performance optimization, and documentation.
• Strong data storytelling, executive communication, requirements-gathering, AI/Copilot utilization, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in data science or computer science.
• Experience with Snowflake, JupyterHub, AnyLogic, or other simulation software.
• Experience with ARIMA, Prophet, time-series forecasting, linear programming, or mathematical optimization solvers.
