HR Systems Analyst (Workday)

Location: Scottsdale, United States; hybrid work model. Candidates must independently have eligibility to work in the United States for any employer. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $84,000–$105,000 USD per year for Phoenix, AZ, plus eligibility for a discretionary incentive plan and benefits.

What you will do

• Provide functional Workday support, troubleshoot issues, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate escalations.
• Configure, test, validate, and implement Workday changes across HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Performance, Compensation, and Recruiting.
• Support recurring HR processes such as open enrollment, performance, compensation, and payroll cycles.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into Workday processes, reports, dashboards, calculated fields, and configuration solutions.
• Monitor data integrity, conduct audits, evaluate releases, and support regression testing and implementation.
• Lead or contribute to defined Workday enhancements and small to medium-sized HR technology initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Approximately 5 years of experience supporting Workday or a comparable human capital management system.
• Experience with functional configuration, testing, troubleshooting, implementation, requirements analysis, and HR process support.
• Experience creating or modifying Workday reports, calculated fields, dashboards, or comparable reporting solutions.
• Ability to analyze complex issues, manage multiple assignments, recommend process improvements, and communicate clearly with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Background and drug screen required.

Nice to have

• Workday HCM experience with Payroll, Benefits, Performance, Recruiting, or Compensation.
• Experience leading Workday enhancements or HR technology workstreams.
• Experience with Workday release evaluation, regression testing, HR data audits, reconciliation, and controls.
