Intern Appraisal Operations

Location: Hybrid, with up to 50% work from home, based at a Compeer office in Janesville, Wisconsin; Lakeville, Minnesota; Bloomington, Illinois; Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, or another Compeer location in the United States. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.

Base pay: $19–$20 USD per hour.

What you will do

• Support real estate evaluations and market surveys.
• Collect and analyze sales information for appraisals and asset valuation.
• Accurately plat legal descriptions for sales and subject properties.
• Assist appraisers with property inspections.

Requirements

• Work toward a bachelor's or associate's degree in agricultural business, business administration, finance, or economics.
• Agricultural background required, including knowledge of agricultural economics and farm practices.
• Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of agricultural machinery and equipment values in the local area.
• Computer skills with Microsoft Office, client databases, and industry software such as Facts or FEM.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
