TL;DR
Real Estate Analyst Intern (Real Estate): Supporting underwriting and due diligence for commercial real estate debt and equity investments with an accent on property-level analysis, market fundamentals, and investment modeling. Focus on preparing loan pricing and equity return models, coordinating cross-functional due diligence, and presenting final underwriting documents to senior management.
Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin; full-time onsite internship. The program runs from June 2027 to August 2027. Some travel is required. Relocation benefits are provided to non-local interns.
Compensation: $16.50–$30.00 per hour.

What you will do
- Provide underwriting and due diligence support for proposed commercial real estate debt and equity investments.
- Coordinate the investment underwriting process with Architecture, Environmental, Law, Closing, Insurance, and Tax teams.
- Prepare deal submissions, review due diligence materials, and gather information with real estate field offices.
- Analyze property-level data, market fundamentals, deal terms, and ongoing investment servicing requests.
- Build and maintain loan pricing and equity return models.
- Prepare underwriting documents and present investments to senior management for approval.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, or a related field at an accredited college or university.
- Expected graduation in December 2027 or May 2028.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher.
- Work or classroom experience with real estate valuation, finance, accounting, property-level due diligence, real estate law, or construction.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Employer immigration sponsorship is not available for this role.
Nice to have
- Experience with Argus or other DCF modeling software.
- Previous real estate internship or relevant project experience.
- Strong oral and written communication, analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and self-motivation skills.
