What you will do
- Define and execute packaging sourcing strategies across seven categories in collaboration with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, R&D, Quality, Marketing, Finance, and global procurement stakeholders.
- Ensure continuous supply of packaging materials for the Egypt factory at the required quality, cost, and lead times.
- Monitor feedstock markets, manage price-risk coverage, develop alternative supply options, and support localization initiatives.
- Build supplier partnerships, identify cost-reduction opportunities, and implement value-engineering initiatives.
- Lead local and regional tenders and support new product development projects.
- Manage purchase-price-variance budgets and reporting while driving dual sourcing for all packaging materials.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business, or Economics.
- At least five years of experience in strategic commercial procurement.
- Fluent English and Arabic are required.
- Packaging industry experience is required, along with strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Experience working across international timelines and cross-functional communities.
- Oracle, Ariba CM, and e-auction platform experience is advantageous.
