TL;DR
Buyer I (Procurement): Supporting procurement of raw materials and packaging materials for manufacturing operations with an accent on purchase order management, inventory targets, supplier coordination, and compliance. Focus on maintaining material availability, resolving delivery issues, improving supplier performance, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Location: Hybrid, 6th October City, Cairo, Egypt

What you will do
- Support supply chain KPIs through procurement and material planning.
- Place and manage purchase orders, supplier confirmations, shipping schedules, and invoices.
- Coordinate material availability with Planning and Operational Scheduling teams.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain agreed safety stock targets.
- Resolve material and delivery issues with sourcing and supplier teams.
- Evaluate supplier performance, support cost reduction, maintain procurement records, and contribute to audits, quality, SOX compliance, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical, communication, and supplier management skills.
- Authorization to work in the applicable location is required.
Nice to have
- Experience with international suppliers and global procurement teams.
- Knowledge of inventory management, planning, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience supporting ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and other compliance requirements.
- Experience identifying process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
