What you will do

  • Develop and maintain demand planning processes for device sales using historical data, market trends, promotional plans, and business intelligence.
  • Analyze sales, consumer insights, product performance, sell-through, profitability, and inventory data to create merchandise plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and vendor management teams on demand forecasts, assortment plans, inventory targets, deliveries, and supply chain issues.
  • Monitor stock availability, identify overstocking and stockout risks, and recommend replenishment strategies.
  • Provide recommendations on pricing, promotions, markdowns, sales, margin, and inventory targets.
  • Support the devices team with ad hoc analysis, innovation initiatives, and special projects.

Requirements

  • 3–4 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain management, or analytics, preferably in telecommunications or consumer electronics.
  • Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, engineering, business administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with demand forecasting, inventory management, data analysis, new product launches, and high-tech devices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in demand planning software such as SAP or Oracle and advanced Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of telecommunications and device lifecycle management is beneficial.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree or professional certification such as CSCP or CPIM.
  • Experience managing demand for high-tech devices.
