Material Support (Manufacturing)

Location: Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, United States; in-person and on-site

What you will do

• Identify, label, stock, record, and transport materials and supplies throughout the facility.
• Operate forklifts safely inside and outside the facility.
• Verify packing slips, process receipts and shipments, and prepare bills of lading and delivery documentation.
• Package materials for internal and external delivery and sort items by destination and purchase order.
• Pull and verify materials for production orders and respond to material requests from internal departments.
• Perform scheduled and ad hoc cycle counts and track material movements in the inventory management system.

Requirements

• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to complete forklift training and obtain and maintain a forklift license.
• Ability to learn and understand lean manufacturing concepts.
• Reliable attendance and in-person, on-site work are required.
• Availability for overtime, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
• Ability to work in a production environment involving standing, repetitive motions, lifting up to 35 pounds, and pushing or pulling materials.

Nice to have

• Existing forklift license.
• Six months of manufacturing industry experience.
