Jerr-Dan: Material Support (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Identify, label, stock, record, and transport materials throughout the manufacturing facility.
• Operate forklifts safely inside and outside the facility.
• Verify items and quantities against packing slips and process receipts and shipments.
• Package materials, sort them by destination, and prepare bills of lading and delivery documents.
• Pull and verify materials for production orders and respond to internal material requests.
• Support cycle counts and use the inventory management system to track material movements.

Requirements

• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to complete forklift training and obtain and maintain a forklift license.
• Ability to learn and apply lean manufacturing concepts.
• Availability for overtime, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
• Regular and reliable in-person attendance at the production site.
• Ability to work safely around noise, dust, moving machinery, temperature changes, and physically demanding tasks.

Nice to have

• Forklift license.
• Six months of manufacturing experience.
