DevOps Software Engineer (Geospatial Intelligence)

What you will do

• Design, build, and deliver enterprise-grade software for the Erebus geospatial intelligence program.
• Develop multi-tiered and microservice applications using object-oriented programming.
• Deploy containerized workloads to cloud environments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, scripts, and automation in Linux environments.
• Collaborate with Agile teams to deliver capabilities supporting national security missions.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret security clearance required to start.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a higher-level clearance with CI polygraph.
• Experience building enterprise-level applications with object-oriented programming, such as Java or C#.
• Experience with multi-tiered or microservice applications and a major cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with containerization using Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI or Jenkins, plus scripting with Python or Bash/Shell.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting US government agencies and using AWS.
• Infrastructure as Code experience with Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
• Experience deploying and maintaining Kubernetes distributions and GitOps workflows with GitLab or ArgoCD.
• Monitoring and logging experience with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or ELK Stack.
• Knowledge of SDLC, networking, security, firewalls, DevSecOps, and identity and access management.
