Sr. Software Engineer (C#/.NET)

Location: 100% telecommuting from the United States; the position is associated with Austin, Texas.

What you will do

• Design and develop new and existing enterprise software components, service layers, integrations, user interfaces, and data management capabilities.
• Define and prioritize build, testing, and security automation requirements from a CI/CD perspective.
• Analyze applications against technical and business specifications, methodologies, and quality standards.
• Provide technical leadership and design expertise across platforms while shaping the long-term technical direction of CDK products.
• Design scalable, resilient, maintainable, and stable software architectures and data models.
• Build and modernize automotive desking solutions integrating pricing, financing, and incentives into dealer workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Software Developer or in a related occupation.
• Professional experience with C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, MVC, Web API, RESTful services, WCF, and SOAP.
• Experience designing service-oriented and microservices-based backend architectures, including API contracts, inter-service communication, authentication, and high-availability application layers.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Entity Framework, Dapper, LINQ, GraphQL, and OData.
• Experience developing web applications with Angular, React, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript, and deploying cloud-native applications with AWS services.
