Software Engineer 2 (C#/.NET/React)

Location: Sacramento, California, United States. Hybrid workplace with work from home available up to two days per week upon eligibility.

Salary: $118,050–$144,520 per year.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain software solutions with C#, .NET, and React across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Build APIs, microservices, front-end components, and distributed systems for web applications.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications with product managers, architects, developers, and stakeholders.
• Contribute to scalable, secure, high-performance system architecture and support migration from on-premises to cloud or hybrid platforms.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, containerization, automated deployments, monitoring, and application governance.
• Troubleshoot performance, security, and availability issues; participate in code reviews and maintain test documentation and defect tracking.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of hands-on software engineering experience with C# and .NET.
• Professional experience with React or another modern JavaScript framework.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud; DevOps, CI/CD, Docker or Kubernetes, Git, and automated deployments.
• Knowledge of microservices, scalable APIs, distributed systems, software design patterns, algorithms, data structures, and relational or non-relational databases.
• U.S. work authorization is required; employment visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate or AWS Certified Developer certification.
• Experience with hybrid cloud strategies, Azure DevOps, SQL Server, MongoDB, Scrum, or Kanban.
• Experience collaborating with architects, business analysts, and multidisciplinary stakeholders.
